glorious weekend breakfasts
By deborah in food & drink, photographyah. two more sleeps for a weekend breakfast. this weekend we’ll have the luck of a weekend breakfast in the countryside. this morning scene was from our homely weekend just passed: french toast with organic bacon and a generous drizzle of maple syrup. all good things.

merry*cookie
By deborah in food & drinkthe first batch of cookies for holiday baking were dead simple: golden syrup cookies. much like honey snaps, the golden syrup makes it taste a little more… richer. the cranberries were an afterthought. i think i’ll add more to the batch i bake tomorrow morning.
